At Casella, we are driven to serve each other, our customers, and our communities. For 50 years, we have delivered essential solid waste and recycling services to our customers. Today, we serve over 1.8 million homes, businesses, and organizations, and through giving and volunteering, we help to build strong communities.
Our approach to community giving, guided by our values, aims to build dialogue and trust with our communities by understanding local needs, supporting local goals, and leading with compassion. We give back through community grants, local sponsorships, in-kind donations, and employee volunteering. Since 2021, we have given back over $4 million in community grants and contributed more than 38,000 volunteer hours to the communities we serve.
THE CASELLA FOUNDATION:
The Casella Foundation is committed to driving sustainable neighborhood revitalization by empowering local communities, championing environmental stewardship, and enhancing community well-being through innovative programs and strategic partnerships with non-profit organizations. We aim to help build vibrant, resilient communities that thrive for generations.
GRANT GUIDELINES:
Organizations must complete an online application to apply for a grant from The Casella Foundation. Applications sent via email, fax, or in-person to our local offices or corporate headquarters will not be accepted. If an employee referred you, please indicate the referral source in your online application. Any 501(c)(3) nonprofit within our service areas in the United States can apply once per year through the Casella Foundation application process.
APPLYING FOR A GRANT:
We are dedicated to evaluating all funding requests every quarter. Please be aware that requests submitted for events occurring in less than eight weeks may be declined because there is not enough time to review and organize fulfillment.
