Agrocarb-FL
is a high quality, natural agricultural lime product used to condition and enrich agricultural soils. Produced in a mining operation in central Vermont, Agrocarb-FL is created from processing natural marble ore into Ground Calcium Carbonate which is further processed into a fine textured liming agent with a median particle size of 20 microns. This unique fine texture allows Agrocarb-FL to quickly react in soil and serve as a valuable substitute for commercial agricultural lime.
Algefiber
is derived from red seaweed. The carrageenan found in this sea vegetable is an ingredient used in food, health, and personal care products. Algefiber® is the by-product of extracting carrageenan and contains organic matter and perlite, and has a physical consistency similar to store bought brown sugar. It is used to increase soil pH, as well as provide calcium, magnesium and organic matter. Additionally, the plant hormones naturally present in seaweed have been shown to help increase plant root development and promote crop growth.
Class B Biosolids
Nashua Class B Biosolids are produced using a unique anaerobic digestion process. This process is the action of digesting biosolids in the absence of oxygen using a residence time of 20 days at a temperature of 35⁰-55⁰C. The resulting material has little to no odor, meets state and federal requi rement s for farm fertilization, and is an excellent source of slow release nutrients.
Fetilimer - Chateaugay, NY
is a lime enhanced soil conditioner produced at our Grasslands Facility in Chateaugay, NY. Fertilimer production starts with Bioset Advanced Technology which manages the exothermic reaction when quicklime is blended with dewatered biosolids. This reaction generates significant amounts of heat which serves to effectively pasteurize Fertilimer, creating a Class A product suited to enhance soil by offering high nutrient value and lime equivalence.
Fertilimer - Unity, ME

Fibergro
is produced during the processing of virgin wood pulp into tissue paper. The resulting by-product from this process- Fibergro, consists primarily of short paper fibers and nitrogen. Use of this high organic content, weed-seed free product is a cost effective way to improve soil condition and health. Fibergro has been used on agricultural soils since 1989, and has proven its ability to enhance soil structure, improve soil aggregation, and help minimize soil compaction. Fibergro also serves as a valuable ingredient when added to topsoil by improving organic matter levels and providing a source of slow release nitrogen.
Lime Grit
is a coarse lime by-product of the precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC) production process. PCC is used as a whitener at paper mills. The coarse nature of Lime Grit provides a gradual release of lime value over time, and is ideal for maintaining optimum pHs in well-managed fields and sweetening the soil of forgotten fields.
Mill Lime
consists of calcium carbonate that is converted from quick lime in a Maine Paper Mill's kiln. Mill Lime can be spread with typical fertilizer spreading equipment.
Poultry Litter
is Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA) approved for organic use and is an excellent source of nutrients that can be incorporated into most fertilizer programs. The key to successful management is to match the nutritional requirements of the crop with nutrients available in the Poultry Litter and supplemental fertilizers.

Biomix Manufactured Topsoil
is a manufactured topsoil that is highly resistant to erosion. BioMix ingredients are Fiberlime (short paper fiber), compost, and a mineral base soil - most of which we source from residual streams that would otherwise go to waste. Most cost-effective is when an end user can provide a suitable base soil (mineral sand or a low quality loam), then we provide the Fiberlime and compost, recipe blend recommendations, and technical assistance to mix the blend onsite.
Bioremediation Amendments
Both affordable and effective, earthlife compost can remediate soils of hydrocarbons, wood preservatives, solvents, heavy metals, pesticides, petroleum products, and other contaminants using natural microbial activity.
Bioretention Cell Amendments
Manage run-off with a bioretention cell or raingarden. These effective alternatives to large detention basins offer many benefits to water quality, aesthetics and wildlife. Materials high in organic matter play a vital role in their success and we can help you custom select the right ingredients for your specific design and application.
Fiberclay
FiberClay is a pulp and paper mill residual used by landfills throughout New England. It can be used as alternate daily cover, intermediate cover, as a component of a wedge fill or grading and shaping layer, or as a cap. Our engineers have studied FiberClay extensively and results show it can be used as a low permeability soil for many projects where that is a specified requirement. It pairs very well with our BioMix manufactured topsoil, as well.
